Provincial Coaching workshop at Owenbeg

Outlook-1479315749

The Provincial Hurling Coaching Workshop will take place on Saturday 11th August in the Derry GAA Centre, Owenbeg, Co. Derry.

Kevin Kelly, Ulster Hurling Development Manager makes this appeal.

I’m appealing to all Clubs and Club coaches to support this event.

Would each Club please consider purchasing tickets for their coaches and especially those who are coaching Hurling/Camogie.  It could be put down as coach education and also a little thank you for all the time and effort they put into your club.  I think new coaches (especially those not over confident with coaching the skills of hurling) would benefit greatly & all would enjoy the day.

It is very important we try and get our coaches up to a new level and where better to get that learning than from some of the greatest players/coaches involved in the game.

Please, Don’t Miss out.

The theme of the day is ‘Building the Essentials into Every Training Session’. The format of the day is practical station based workshop with coaches rotating to each station.  It is targeted for Youth & Adult Coaches.

Registration: 11.30 a.m. Workshop: 12.00 – 2.20 p.m. Lunch: 2.30 p.m.  (note the finals of the Ulster U15 Club Hurling Og Sport will be on during registration)
