FB_IMG_1537129526505 copy-textThe football championship continues this weekend with an exciting programme of games that is sure to attract good crowds to games across the county. Would you like to show your support for your team, and advertise your business, in the Saffron Gael.

The action gets under way on Friday night when St. Agnes plays Naomh Padraig in the semi-final of the Junior Football Championship at Woodlands and in Ballymena there’s a real heavyweight contest as Kickham’s Creggan face St. Mary’s Ahoghill in the Senior Football Championship quarter-final.

The next day (Saturday) the Junior Football Championship continues when Glenravel and O’Donnell’s meet in the second semi-final in Glenavy at 1-00 and that is followed by another potential close contest as Dunloy take on Gort Na Mona in the IFC AT 2-30.

Padraig Sarsfield’s v Moneyglass looks another mouth-watering contest when they meet in the IFC at Corrigan at 3-30 with St. Gall’s v Casement’s in the SFC following at 5-00 and this double header should attract a big crowd to the Whiterock Road venue.

There’s no let up on the action on Sunday with an early start at the Bear Pit where St. Enda’s v Davitt’s at 12-30 in the IFC and St. John’s and St. Teresa’s follow in the SFC at 2-00. Over in Creggan the action continues with another couple of tasty contests when All Saints meet Rasharkin in the Intermediate Football Championship at 3-00 and this is followed by, potentially the biggest game of the weekend when Senior Champions Lamh Dhearg take on Erin’s Own Cargin in defence of their crown.

If you have a business in one of these areas and would like to advertise that business while supporting your local club and in doing so help ensure the future of the saffron Gael, here’s what to do.

For just £60 we will run your logo and good wishes for your club in all of their championship games right through to the final. If you get your advert to us before Friday it will be included in the preview of games which we will post later in the week.

We have had a good response to the Hurling championship regarding adverts and St. Ergnat’s Moneyglass , Erin’s Own Cargin and Glenravel have got in early with their adverts for this weekend’s football championship games and we have included some of those adverts on this article.
