South West Antrim GAA Presentation evening

The South West Antrim GAA divisional board held another very successful juvenile presentation evening in the Dunsilly Hotel with a wide array of awards on display. The South West division, as usual completed all its competitions on time and Gaelic games in the division appears  to be in a healthy state with 10 different clubs on the winners rostrum on the night

South West chairman, Jim McNally presented the awards and the guests on the night included Ulster Council president, Michael Hasson who addressed the packed room and congratulated all the clubs present on their participation and success over the year.

The South West Antrim divisional board provided the winners of all the All County Football championships this year with Glenravel winning the Junior championship, St. Enda’s the Intermediate, Cargin the Senior and Dunloy the Minor championship and all four cups were on display at the Dunsilly awards evening.

Referees for all the competitions in the South West also received awards.

Congratulations were extended to Sean Laverty on his appointment as fourth official at the All Ireland football final.

Final award on the evening was the Saffron Gael’ SFC final Man of the Match award which was presented to Erin’s Own’s Michael McCann.
