The second phase of the Airborne league division 3 was held at Tir na nOg on Saturday with five teams due to compete for the four qualifying places in next week’s semi-finals in Dunloy.

Tir na nOg, Creggan, Naomh Padraig, Con Magee’s and St. Ergnat’s were the teams scheduled to play but the Glenravel side pulled out following a double bereavement in the parish during the week.

The action went ahead however with the remaining four sides assured of a place in next week’s semi-finals and produced an entertaining Day’s hurling with Creggan and Naomh Padraig toping the table.
