Creggan 4-17 All Saints 3-14 a.e.t.

In a highly entertaining match it took extra time to separate these two evenly matched sides in last night’s McCormick Cup game in Creggan. It was attack, attack, attack from both teams from the first whistle with end to end football and some teriffic scores with the sides level at half time, Kickhams 1-08 to All Saints 2-05. The second half continued in the same vein as the first and at full-time they couldn’t be separated at2-13 to 2-13 and so on to extra time. Both teams deserve a lot of credit for the effort all 30 players put in with Kickham’s running out winners 4-17 to 3-14. Best for All Saints were Niall Shannon, James McDonald, Conor Stewart & Damien Casey and for Kickham’s Frank McAuley, Peter Graham, Jake Mc Ateer and Peter McCollum and special mention to Christopher Eastwood (ref)
