Two wins in a week for St. Enda’s

Naomh Eanna 5-17 Oisin Glenariffe 2-10

On a beautiful evening for hurling, a perfect surface in a perfect setting, Páirc Éanna had it all on Wednesday evening. Both team s have clashed over the years and as usual and always we were not disappointed.

Coming off a physical encounter with the Tír Eoghan team, Eoghan Ruadh in division two on Sunday, that encounter finished: – Naomh Éanna: 2-14 Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh 0-13

This came after a defeat at Páirc na Bear, with na Sairsealaigh, who ran out ten point winners at the beginning of May, however Sambo relishes a challenge, training intensifies and gameplay improves, hence a win in Tír Eoghan and another at home on Wednesday night against Glenariffe.

The official score was recorded as Naomh Éanna 5-17, Glenariffe Oisin CLG 2-10, with all of the front six forwards and, mid field and the half back line contributing, the tally of scores totalled 32point in the end

The next game is against Cloughmills and with Creggan and Carey still to come, it leaves the next three games a mouth-watering prospect for the summer.
