It was all hands to the pumps at Cloney this morning as the local Gaels celebrated with an end of season hurling and camogie tournament. The St. Mary’s club were joined by young hurlers and camogs from Erin’s Own, Cargin, Moneyglass and Creggan as these young Gaels showed their skill in glorious sunshine.
Over in the adjoining hall the club had organised a coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Care and amongst those making their contribution were the St. Mary’s Antrim Junior Camogie Championship winning side.
The girls were enjoying a coffee and refreshments before heading out to Aghaderg to take on the Down Junior Champions in the first round of the Ulster Junior Championship.
We grabbed a photograph of the Camogs beside one of the two buses about to take them to Aghaderg, provided by one of our sponsors ‘JM Coaches’
