I ndiaidh sárbhliana de cheiliúradh do Chomóradh an Chéid Thír na nÓg C.L.G., Baile Raghnaill, tá muid anois ag déanamh réidh le clabhsúr a chur le comóradh ár gcéid. Tá dhá mhórimeacht ag teacht aníos: Seoladh Leabhair agus caint staire leis an Dr. Éamonn Phoenix, agus Terence McNaughton mar aoi speisialta, agus oíche chlabhsúir cheoil le Katie McParland.
After a mammoth year of celebrations in commemoration of their centenary year Tír na nÓg C.L.G. Randalstown are now preparing to conclude their centenary year events. Two events remain; their centenary book launch with a historical talk from Dr. Éamon Pheonix and special guest Terence McNaughton and a closing night of music and song featuring Katie McParland.

Tír na nÓg have created an 80 page book illustating the past 100 years of their club littered with fantastic images, the book has been set into the context by referencing it to local and national events of the time, making it appealing to all Gaels across Antrim and Ulster.
The book will be launched by Terence “Sambo” McNaughton. Sambo has recently been inducted into Croke Park’s Hall of Fame and it is fitting for the Whitehill club to recognise his contributions to hurling in Antrim in this manner. The launch will take place on Wednesday 30th October at 7.30pm in the clubrooms at Tír na nÓg.
Prior to the launch, Dr Éamon Phoenix, the renowned historian, journalist and broadcaster, who has penned the foreword to the publication, will be giving a talk titled ‘Ireland, Ulster and Antrim from the Gaelic Revival to the 1916 Rising and Partition’
The Tír na nÓg club would warmly welcome anyone who has an interest in the history of the times to the event and offer a particular welcome to those members of Antrim GAA clubs across the three Divisional Boards.
The final event to close the centenary year festivities will be an evening of music, song and craic on Saturday 2nd November at 8.00pm with the talented singer Katie McParland, who ably supported the Whistlin’ Donkeys back in August during our Marquee weekend.
This will be an evening for relaxing and reflection on the year gone past while listening to the dulcet and at times plaintive voice that is uniquely Katie McParland.
Both events are free of charge and all are encouraged to attend, enabling Tír na nÓg GAC to sign off on what has been a very successful year commemorating the foundation of the club in 1919.
