Minor Football Championship Semi-Finals this Thursday

Following the final Group stage matches on Monday evening, the semi-finals of the All County Minor Football Championship are due to take place this Thursday evening.

Defending champions Cargin have come through their Group stage matches in convincing fashion winning every game by a ten point average margin. Their full forward line of Johnson, McLaughlin and Shivers will take some watching if the Paddies want to remain in contention. Sarsfields only loss in the Group stages was to St. Brigid’s who meet Ballymena in the other semi-final. The South Belfast side were defeated by Cargin in last year’s Minor Final and the Joe Brolly managed side look warm favourites to win with Boyle, Brolly and Bradley their key men.

Both Sarsfield’s and All Saints completed their Group programmes with convincing wins on Monday night and neither side will be going along just to make up the numbers and we could be in for two good semi-finals

Both semi-finals will be played to a finish on the night.

Antrim Minor Football Championship Semi-Finals:
