Another round of the under-17 football league competition is scheduled for Sunday 25th July with games scheduled for all of the three divisions.
Sunday 25th July
Under-17 football league (all games at 12 noon)
Division One
St Brigid’s v St Enda’s
St Brigid’s have progressed without defeat to date and the South Belfast side will hope to continue that good form as they play host to St Enda’s.
St Enda’s with one win under their belt may well struggle to halt their hosts.
All Saint’s Ballymena v Patrick Sarsfield’s
This looks a close one as All Saint’s play hosts to Sarsfields, but ground advantage may well play a part with the Quinn Park side capable of securing the points.
St James Aldergrove v Erin’s Own Cargin
Cargin have failed to gain a win so but have recorded a couple of draws as they travel to Crumlin to cross swords with Aldergrove men.
Aldergrove have one win to date but ground advantage means they will start as favourites to collect a second.
St Mary’s Aghagallon v St Paul’s
St Pauls share top spot with St Brigid’s and the Shaw’s road side will travel to Aghagallon hoping to remain on top.
Aghagallon are a point behind their visitors and they could ensure that this is changed with a victory over their visitors possible.
Division Two
Casement’s have just one win to date as they play hosts to Gort na Mona.
The West Belfast side do sit in third place in and they will travel to Portglenone as favourites to retain their place in the division.
St Gall’s v O’ Donovan Rossa
St Gall’s lead the way in the division with a full return of points in their five games to date and they look likely to add two more from the visit Rossa.
Rossa have yet to gain a win and the Shaw’s road side may well have to wait another day for their first win.
Con Magee’s Glenravel v St Joseph’s Glenavy
This all South west affair sees Glenravel play hosts to Glenavy in what may be a close one.
Both sides share similar results to date with ground advantage possibly tilting the balance in favour of the Con Magee’s.
Corpus Christi Gaels v Tir na nOg Randalstown
Nothing separates this duo as 5th placed Tir na nOg play hosts to Corpus Christi Gaels with both on four points.
A close one in prospect with a tentative vote awarded to the Whitehill Blues.
Division Three
Lamh Dhearg v St Mary’s Rasharkin
Lamh Dhearg lead the way in this division with a full return of points from their four games to date and they will hope to continue that good form as Rasharkin visit.
The Dreen side have enjoyed similar success from their games to date and the South West side may give their hosts a run for their money.
