Nelson double sees Glenavy book semi-final spot

Glenavy 2-9 Ballymena 1-12

Glenavy booked their place in the semi-final of the Reserve Football Shield when they came from three points down at half time to draw with All Saints at Chapel Hill on Friday evening.

Ballymena appeared to be set to qualify when they lead by 0-8 to 0-5 at half time, but two goals from corner forward David Nelson in the second half helped the home to team to gain the point they neeed to set up a semi-final meeting with Group 2 winners Dunloy next Friday evening.
