Calling all Saffrons! Scór is back!

We are delighted that after a long 2 years, the Scór competitions will be starting up again in the coming weeks.

Scór is a GAA competition that promotes our culture, language and heritage. It gives people an opportunity to represent the club off the playing field and it is a wonderful aspect of our association.

Restrictions have kept Scór from happening because it is an indoor event and there are group competitions.  Scór in Antrim has been going from strength to strength in the last number of years and we hope that this will continue this year.

County Scór Officer and National Scór Committee member Bronagh Lennon said “It is fantastic that we are able to run our Scór events again. People have missed it so much. It is the only aspect of the GAA that has been dormant for 2 years and we hope that clubs will take part to help make Scór better than ever this year.”

County Cultural Officer Orla Fitzsimons said “We urge all clubs to come forward and enter even one area of Scór. We can provide support and help any club that needs any advice.”
