The ACFL’s are scheduled to start on Sunday and once again the Saffron Gael will be out in force to cover as many of those games as possible. Unfortunately we do not have enough photographers or reporters to cover all these games and we once again appeal to clubs and their PRO’s to send us reports from their matches.
Coverage of your team’s games helps to promote your club and make it more attractive to your members and the Saffron Gael provides you with an opportunity to have reports of your games carried free of charge
With only a limited number of us covering these matches it is clear that we would not be able to get around every club each week but we will endeavour to cover as many as possible…with your help.
Last year visits to our site reached 1,919,000 views and this year we would hope to match or surpass that number and your PRO has the opportunity to promote your club to this extensive readership.
If you don’t feel comfortable in doing a full report here is how you can have your game reported.
- Send us a copy or photograph of both team sheets.
- Make a list of scorers names or number of the player scoring as the scores occur
- Add a time as to when the score came.
- Half time and full time score
- Any other info you may think is relevant, such as star players etc.
