Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 2
Laois 0-7 Antrim 4-19
Antrim had a runaway win over Laois on Saturday at Abbyleix to keeper their pause for promotion on course. With both midfielders and all six forwards getting their name on the scoreboard they were always in control and though Laois kept in touch in the early stages.
When Laois centre forward Aimee Cuddy pointed a 45 in the seventh minute there was only a point between the sides, but 2-08 without reply between the ninth and 30th minutes all but decided the game.
Caitrin Dobbin started the run with a goal in the tenth minute and when her Loughgiel club mate Roisin McCormick added another two minutes later it was clear what direction the game was taking.
With Dobbin and McCormick adding two points each and Aine Magill, Siobhan McKillop and Caoimhe Wright getting one each the lead was out to 2-11 to 0-2 at half time.

Antrim’s third goal came nine minutes into the second half from right half forward Siobhan McKillop, and though Cuddy and Alice Walsh kept plugging away for the home team the scores kept flowing at the other end with Roisin McCormick leading the line, while Christine Laverty Nicole O’Neill and Aimee Boyle also contributing the scoreboard.
