On my way into Corrigan Park for Saturday’s NFL game between Antrim and Longford I got chatting to a man from Longford. Pat Keenan from Ardragh in the County informed me that he played in the Kilmacud 7’s against St. John’s for St. Patrick’s Ardragh back in 1977 and it set me thinking. A quick enquiry confirmed what I was thinking and I got hold of two men who are always there to welcome us to Corrigan Park, Jim Donnelly and Kevin Gough.

Jimmy and Kevin were part of that St. John’s 1977 panel and were delighted to pose for a photograph with their former foe and now new found friend Pat Keenan.
