Under 17 Football League – Division 1
St Paul’s 1-8 St Brigid’s 3-13
St Brigid’s continued their unbeaten run in the Antrim Under 17 Football League when they travelled to St Paul’s on Sunday and beat the Shaw’s Road side by 3-13 to 1-8
The visitors had the better of things in the first half and lead at half time by 1-7 to 1-2, their goal coming from Peter Mulgrew, while Lorcan Phillips got the St Paul’s major.

St Paul’s put on the pressure early in the second half with Phillips causing the St Brigid’s defence a few problems. However they missed a good few chances to get back into contention and St Brigid’s came back with points from Rory McErlain (2) and Dara Quinn.
St Paul’s full forward Techin McGarry was found with a clever pass from Phillips and fired over, and though James Blaney responded for the visitors Phillps came back with three points from frees to keep his sides hopes alive.
Howver St Brigid’s produced a strong finish adding two more goals, the final one from Ryan McCoy to seal the win with a bit to spare
