Points by Harry Kilgore and Conlaoith McNeill brought the Emmet’s level and though Fay put Ballygalget back in front five points without reply from Donal O’Hara (2), David Kilgore, Eoin McQuillan and ‘Loaf’ McNeill saw the home side lead by 1-10 to 1-6 at the break.

Points from Cormac and Oisin Coulter cut the gap back to two earl in the second half, and though McNeill came back with a point for Cushendun soon afterwards a Cormac Coulter goal on 35 minutes tied it all up.
