North Antrim Under 13A Hurling Championship semi-final
Cushendall/Ballymena 1-08 Glenariffe/Glenravel 1-10
Two pointed frees from Glenariffe/Glenravel full forward Ronan Magee booked his team’s place in the final of the North Antrim Under 13 Hurling Championship at the expense of Cushendall/Ballymena on Monday evening.

Cushendall full forward James McGarry put his team ahead with a point on four minutes but a minute later Cadham Graham brought the Oisins level with one from play. McGarry restored the home team’s lead on seven minute with one from a free but three in a row from the Oisins, two from Ronan Magee and one from Cadham Graham gave them a 0-4 to 0-2 lead at the end of the twenty minute half.
It as score for score during the first ten minute of the second half with Eoin Lorcan Bradley and James McGarry getting two for Cushendall and Cadham Graham replying for the Oisins. Bradly pointed for Cushendall to cut the gap back to a single point with five minutes left to play, but when Ronan Magee got a point from a free and Cadhan Graham added a goal for a penalty the Oisins appeared to have it all wrapped up.

With just four minutes of normal time left to play the Oisins were five ahead, but Cushendall staged a great comeback, and points from James McGarry and centre back Brian McNeill cut the gap back to two before McGarry brought his team level with a goal from a penalty with just a minute left for play. Extra time appeared to be on the cards at this stage but the Oisins snatched the win with two pointed frees to set up a final meeting with Dunloy.
