The “Harmony Hub” bandstand in Ballymena town centre was the venue for the Saints and Slimmers Annual Charity Spinathon. The event, a key part of the local club’s six week health & well being programme, saw eight teams battle it out for the title of Spinathon Champions 2023. With points on offer going towards the Finale Night total in Tullyglass on Fri 24th Feb competition among participants was fierce. 

The results saw the Bodcon Pearls taking 1st place followed closely by the Connolly’s Spar Rubies in 2nd and the Steele Physio Sapphires occupying 3rd spot. Despite the good-natured competition between the teams everyone present agreed that the real winners on the day were local charity, St. Vincent De Paul, beneficiaries of the street collection organised in conjunction with the Spinathon. The total raised will be revealed and presented at the Finale Night in Tullyglass House Hotel on Fri 24th February.
