ACFL Division 2
Aldergrove v St. Paul’s
Crumlin based St James Aldergrove have really hit the turf running this term and gained positive returns from their assignments to date.
They opened account with a first round victory at Dunloy and returned to their own sod to gain a good victory over St Teresa’s last time out and will be seeking to retain that early positivity again as St Paul’s visit
St Paul’s after a positive start with a home win over St Patrick’s but found the going tougher next time when losing to Glenravel and will hope for better this time as the revisit the South West.
The West Belfast side are more than capable of holding their own but ground advantage may well tip the balance in favour of the Aldergrove men.
Michael Davitt’s v St Teresa’s
This all South Antrim clash sees the unbeaten Michael Davitt’s welcome St Teresa’s to Davitt’s Park and this does look like a close one to call.
Davitt’s opened their 2023 account with a first round victory over Sarsfield’s before earning a share of the spoils next time at Glenavy. They return to home base for this one, as they play hosts to the St. Teresa’s.
St Teresa’s opened their account with a good win over the visiting Cuchullian’s but they found the going tough in round two losing out to a very in form Aldergrove down at Crumlin and they will look for better this time .
Davitt’s will start this one as firm favourites and although their visitors will be no pushovers a home win does look likely.

Having contested the under-20 championship decider last term the Paddies may well have a strong reserve squad and that could ensure a win in this one.
