Last Sunday’s Coffee morning in the Pound Loughgiel in aid of the Criostai’s Heroes charity was a great success, with the community turning out to support the Connolly family with their fundraising efforts!
Leona and Art Connolly along with their son Criostái have to travel to America every 16 weeks for their son to receive treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a muscle wasting condition with no current treatment available to them at home! Of course funding such a project takes a lot of effort and the people from Loughgiel and beyond have shown great support.
Antrim and Cushendall star Neil McManus, who is one of Chriosta’s Heroes, was there again to support the Chriostai and the Connolly family
