Glenavy 1-5 Moneyglass 5-24

County champions Moneyglass proved too strong for Glenavy in Monday evening’s league game in Glenavy in the LGFA in Glenavy.

First half goals from Orliath Prenter on six minutes, Aoife Kelly on 13 minutes, Prenter again on 14 and Aine Devlin on twenty helped the Moneyglass to a 4-11 to 1-0 lead at half time, the Glenavy goal coming from Ellen Morgan.

The second half saw the champions pile on more pressure as their slick moving machine continued to dominate, their fourth goal coming from team captain Cathy Carey while there were a series of excellent points from Bradley, Devlin, Carey, Boyd and Kelly as they pulled away to win convincingly.
