St John the Baptists primary school celebrated it’s 50th anniversary at the end of April with a day of sport and celebration at Sarsfields GAC.
As well as coaching and other activities throughout the day, the main event was a match between staff, and past pupils of the school and an Antrim select team- including current players and past players.
An exciting encounter finished all square and was settled by a shoot-out where St John the Baptist took the bragging rights on their big day.
All in attendance throughly enjoyed the afternoon on a special year for the Finaghy Road North based primary school- which has a fantastic GAA tradition and helped to develop many past and current country stars
