St Mary’s CBGS 6-24 St Patrick’s Maghera 1-6

ST Mary’s CBGS will play St Killian’s Garron Tower in the Danske Bank Leonard Cup final in a fortnight after an unexpectedly comfortable win over St Patrick’s Maghera at Dunsilly yesterday.

First half goals from Darren Delander, Conal Dempsey and Shea McGarry did the damage and the Glen Road side led by 3-16 to 0-1 at the break.

Maghera battled hard in the second half, but St Mary’s were in command and further goals from Jay Gault and Daire Jemfrey (two) sealed a comprehensive victory.
