Antrim teams will be involved and Agahagallon ballad group and Scor na nog Leiriu are both performing

Aghagallon Ballad Group from are the most decorated of all the acts to appear on stage at Champions for Charity. They come from a club with a great Scor tradition which was started by Agnes Hannon in the 1990s. Sadly Agnes passed away a few years ago but she has left a rich legacy in Aghagallon. Her daughter Una and nephew Adrian are both members of the very successful senior ballad group.
Aghagallon Ballad Group have 11 County Antrim titles in Scór Sinsir, 7 Ulster titles and 2 All Ireland titles. Their most recent All Ireland title was won in 2015 in Dublin with a pitch perfect performance of The Green Glens of Antrim and Eileen O. There were scenes of great joy when they were announced as 2015 All Ireland Champions and more than a few tears shed. Not only are they great champions but also true ambassadors as they give so much back both within their community and outside of it to help others. We are delighted to announce that this fabulous group will be singing their All Ireland winning songs in Hilltown on Fri 6th April. Not to be missed!
