Oisins kept their winning run going in the North Antrim Feile na nGael when they beat neighbours Cushendall in Tuesday evening’s round robin game in Glenariffe. Cushendall goalkeeper Dan McAlister kept his team in the game with two great saves from Oisin penalties but Peadar McDonnell came off the bench to goal for the home team just before the break to give his team a 3-2 to 0-2 half time lead at half time.
Playing into the breeze in the second half Glenariffe kept picking off the points, but Padriag McKillop kept Cushendall in touch with some well taken points from frees. However John V Morgan and Peadar McDonnell grabbed goals apiece, and with Daniel Kearney sending over points they wrapped up the win on a scoreline of 5-6 to 0-7.
