St. Ergnat’s GAC Moneyglass held a very successful Gala Dinner in the Tullyglass House hotel in Ballymena on Friday night where BBC’s Mark Sidebottom was compere for the night. The guests included former Donegal manager, Brian McEniff, Sean Cavanagh, Briege Corkery who won 7 camogie and 11 football All Ireland’s with Cork and Moneyglass’ own superstar, AP McCoy.
Other dignitaries at the evening included Bishop of Derry, Most Rev. Donal McKeown and outgoing Ulster chairman, Michael Hasson, both hailing from neighbouring South West clubs, Creggan and Rasharkin respectively.
A great night was had by all as Mark Sidebottom interviewed the guests with former MacRory Cup colleagues, Kevin Madden, now manager of Kickham’s Creggan and Moneyglass man Kevin Brady, now manager of St. Mary’s Grammar, Magherafelt recalling past battles on the field.
