All Ireland Send Off for St. Mary’s Aghagallon

The Woodville Arms was the venue for the All Ireland send-off night to wish the children in the Novelty Act from St Mary’s Aghagallon well in their upcoming All Ireland Final in the INEC in Killarney on 1st May.

The event was very well supported with club members, families of the children and guests from clubs throughout Ulster in attendance.  The Novelty act performed after watching a good luck video from relatives, classmates and friends. They were then joined by our County champion ceili dancers who performed for the crowd. St. Mary’s were delighted that Scór groups from local clubs Clan na Gael and Sean Treacys joined us and performed.

Scór is a huge part of the St. Mary’s club life and in Aghagallon, it is much more than just a competition. It is part of the community. The club are extremely proud of the young people for reaching the All Ireland Final. Competing at a National level is a huge honour and a fantastic achievement and they wish the Novelty Act all the best.   A statement from the club read “We would like to thank the Woodville Arms, Saffron Gael and all of the local businesses who donated things for our fundraiser”.
