Antrim Poc Fada returns after 3 year absence

The Antrim Poc Fada makes a welcome return tomorrow morning after a three years absence due to the pandemic.

Glenarm Shane O’Neill’s are again hosting the event, which is held on Gowkstown Hill, just above their pitch at Feystown.

The last competition, which was held in 2019 was won by Christopher Murray of St Paul’s with Aishling Reilly making it a club double by taking the Ladies top prize. Orlagh Laverty form Loughgiel won the Under 16 girls back then and Aidan Scullion of the host club won the boys at that age group.

It is an early start and competitors are ask to register at Forsythe Park at 9.am with the action to get underway at Gowkstown Hill at 9.30.
